Sunrise, sunset

It has been an exciting last few weeks around here.  From the first green beans from our garden to the 1000th sale in our Etsy shop, the big launch of our blog and new home page to the arrival of summer, things have been busy from sun up to sun down!

To celebrate we are having our first giveaway!

I thought to celebrate summer our large sunstacker was the perfect prize for the winner.

Here’s a bit more about our big sunshine stacker.

The hand crafted wooden sun stacker is perfect for your little ones to spend hours imagining with. The possibilities are endless with this toy. The warm colors of the stacker really brighten up any room. The wooden sun stacker is the perfect addition to any nature table.  Our toys are made from sustainably harvested wood, AP Certified non-toxic paint, and our homemade natural wood polish made from beeswax, jojoba oil, and essential oils. Perfect and safe for little hands!

Size- H:5″ x L:8″ x W: .75

To  enter the Sun Stacker Giveaway please leave a comment on this post about your favorite item in our shop. For a few more chances to win, link to our giveaway on your own blog, tweet about this giveaway (using that great little retweet button, its easy!), join us on Facebook and then come on back and leave another comment letting us know about your extra entries.  I will close comments on Saturday July 3rd  at 9pm EST and then announce the winner in the evening!

Our giveaway has ended but we are pleased to announce our winner- Angelina Cooke of Homegrown Naturally !  Congrats Angelina!!!

And because this post is somewhat devoid of pictures here is a photo of our Sunday sunset.  Earlier in the evening we had an amazing thunderstorm with some of the most brillant lightening I have ever seen.  It seems that we have had more than our fair share of storms recently.

However we were rewarded with a bit beauty after the storm.  The sunset  truly was a sight to behold.

Enjoy your week!!

Congrats on your 1000th sale! I love all your toys, but please don’t enter me in the giveaway, my kids are too big. I’d rather the stacker went to someone who has small children. Your imagination and professionalism are an inspiration!

Erin, I am so excited for you. 1000 sales is FANTASTIC. I’m a fan of the hedgehog. I think he is adorable and simple. On a side note, I think it would be fun to hit the park one day next week for a little while. Let me know if you are in.

I can’t choose one, but my favourites in your shop right now would be the hedgehod & mushroom set or any of the stackers. Gorgeous work – I plan on ordering MULTIPLE items once our new babe arrives in a month or two. Or perhaps I should pace myself and start ordering now…. :)

  24. Posted June 28, 2010 at 5:04 pm | Permalink

Just found you on Facebook as well, and now to go do that purchase!

  25. Posted June 28, 2010 at 5:17 pm | Permalink

I don’t even have to look: we covet the star wands! The rainbow set, please. Why have just one?

PS One of my favorite things about the stackers is that when your child “outgrows” them, they will still be beautiful on a mantel or a book shelf. Little sculptures meant for play.

Emily- I have to admit that different stackers have graced my mantle over the years. The sun stacker though is my favorite. I just can’t help but smile when I see it.

Congrats on the big sales! We just ordered and started following on Facebook a couple weeks ago. We ordered our favorite item in the shop, which are the multi-colored blocks. Totally love that they are irregular because they are made from the excess pieces of wood from the rest of the toys – great free play toys AND recycling what others would consider waste! LOVE them!

what a wonderful thing to celebrate!
definitely the cloud stacker is my favorite! coming in second is the hedgehog set.

Congratulation son 1000 sales! That’s quite the milestone. For my favorite it’s a tie between the sun stacker and the sunflower stacker. Both really caught my eye right off the bat!

I love your waldorf-inspired wooden helicopters…I think my son would have a blast with them, his birthday is coming up so I will be placing a order very soon I think! I’m located in Ontario Canada, could you tell me how long it would take from the time I place the order until the package might arrive? His birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks :)

Hi Vanessa! We ship to Canada quite often and have found that during the non-holiday season it typically takes 2-3 weeks for packages to arrive. Customs seems to be the biggest factor in whether a package arrives quickly or not. Thanks for checking out our blog!
